The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it is actually alarmed regarding the large quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] status sassa is to reach-out to a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day.
